How giving works

Choose your amount

Give Now opens our secure giving page, hosted by Paystack. You type the amount — there is no set figure — and your email address. Everything is in Ghana cedis (GHS).

Pay the way you already pay

Mobile money on MTN, Telecel or AirtelTigo, or a Visa, Mastercard or Verve card. Your card and mobile money details are entered on Paystack’s page and are never seen by, or stored on, this website.

Keep the receipt

Paystack emails you a receipt for every gift as soon as it succeeds. That email is your record of the gift. Keep it — it is what we will ask for if you ever need to query a payment.

Giving terms

These terms apply to gifts made through the Give Now button on this page. Please read them before you give.

Your gift

What it funds

Gifts made here are unrestricted. They go to the general work of GraceInspired Ministries — the GraceInspired Scholarship scheme, outreach, social intervention in deprived communities, and the training of men and women at GraceLife Institute. We do not ring-fence an online gift to a single one of those.

It is a gift, not a purchase

You receive no goods, services, place, position or preferment in return for giving. Giving is not a condition of enrolling at GraceLife Institute, of taking part in outreach, or of any other part of our work.

Tax

We are not able to advise you on the tax treatment of your gift. If you need to claim relief, take advice from your own adviser or from the Ghana Revenue Authority, and keep the Paystack receipt.

Payment

Who takes the payment

Payments are processed by Paystack, licensed by the Bank of Ghana. Pressing Give Now takes you to Paystack’s own page, on Paystack’s own domain, and your card or mobile money details are handled entirely there. This website has no server, asks for no card details and stores none.

Currency and methods

Gifts are taken in Ghana cedis (GHS), by mobile money on MTN, Telecel or AirtelTigo, or by Visa, Mastercard or Verve card. A card issued outside Ghana is converted by your own bank at its own rate, and your bank may add a charge for that.

Processing fees

Paystack deducts a processing fee before the gift is settled to us, so the ministry receives a little less than the amount you give. Your bank or mobile money provider may charge you separately. Nothing is added by us.

Failed and pending payments

A payment that fails takes no money. If your account is debited but no receipt arrives from Paystack, the payment is pending rather than lost — allow a full working day, then write to us with the date, the amount and the number or card you paid from.

Refunds

Gifts are not normally refundable

Once a gift is given it is put to the work described above, and we do not refund it because a giver has changed their mind.

Mistakes we will put right

If you gave twice by accident, typed the wrong amount, or the payment was not made by you at all, write to us within 14 days of the gift and send the Paystack receipt. Where we are satisfied the payment was a mistake we refund it in full, to the same card or wallet it came from. Refunds are made through Paystack and usually reach you within five to ten working days.

Recurring gifts

If you set up a gift that repeats, you may stop it at any time by writing to us, and it will be stopped before the next date falls due. Instalments already collected are not refunded.

Your data

What we hold

Your name, your email address, and the amount and date of the gift, as Paystack records them. We use them to acknowledge the gift, to answer you if you write to us, and to keep our accounts. We do not sell them, rent them or pass them on, and we do not publish the names of givers.

Under Ghanaian law

We hold your data under the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843). You may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — except where we must keep a record of the transaction for our accounts. Write to the address below.

They apply to gifts made through this page and are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. We may change them; the version on this page at the moment you give is the one that applies to that gift.
